Hi there! My name’s Eli, I go by he/they pronouns, I’m 24, and I am a trans queer multi disciplinary artist living in San Francisco. My work focuses primarily upon ideas of queer sexuality and eroticism, especially as it relates to trans and gender expansive identities, and alternative forms of sexual expression. (I’m like if Tom of Finland was trans and actually represented real queer bodies) I am currently one class away from finally finishing my BFA in Painting and Drawing from California College of the Arts.

In late 2024, I had to leave school suddenly because of some personal mental health issues. I was forced to leave behind most of my painting supplies, along with all my finished pieces from my senior show. Once I recovered from my mental health crisis, I discovered from campus facilities that all my items had been thrown away. Hundreds of dollars of materials, saved over the course of nearly a decade, and thousands of dollars worth of paintings… gone.

So that’s why I’m choosing to start this GoFundMe. I would like to accumulate enough money to be able to replace some of the supplies I lost, so that I can continue to make my art and rebuild my portfolio. This money will go towards things like paint, brushes, wood panels, paint markers, etc. I might not be able to ever get back the work I created, but I’m hoping that with these donations, I can restart my artistic practice, and build back my portfolio so that I can start applying to galleries in the future.
