Help The Grasso family who lost home in Hurricane

Hello All,

This is Tara Galligan and Amy McAndrew, Daughters of Ray and Sue Grasso. We would like to raise money to rebuild our parents' home in Englewood, Florida.

It is with a very heavy heart to write that our parents have lost their home in Englewood, Florida (along with many others) due to the terrible devastation caused by Hurricane Ian.

Unfortunately, due to the style of their home, they were not able to receive the proper Insurance to help in life-changing situations like this. So they have been rendered helpless because they are unable to be reimbursed by their insurance company for their loss.

Ray Grasso has spent his entire life working day and night to provide a happy and healthy life for his family. As a very proud Italian man, family is absolutely everything to him. There is nothing else.

Over the past 25 years, this home has enjoyed 3 generations: family and friends that are sadly no longer with us, their children and 4 beautiful grandchildren (all boys!) Ray and his wife Sue have created, experienced and shared so many incredible memories over the years that have now been taken with the storm. This was not just a home but a place that provided a sense of serenity, calm and true joy for my parents.

Ray and Susan Grasso have lived their lives welcoming everyone into their home with open arms and warm hearts, expecting nothing in return. For all of you that have had the opportunity to know them, know firsthand that they are selfless, kind and wonderful humans. And for those that haven’t had the pleasure yet, we would love for you to meet them!

During this very difficult time for our family, we are asking if you would be so kind as to lend your hand in the hopeful efforts to restore our family home. Thank you in advance for helping us to create new memories.
