My name is James Voegele and i am Edward Small's Brother-in-law.I have been together with his sister Linda coming up on 20 years,married for 13 years.On November 10th,2025 approx 7:45 pm Ed was in a near fatal motorcycle accident on Gothard and Cedar street in Huntington Beach,California.It appears it was a Hit and Run.Ed was found by Medical Personnel unresponsive in the street with no one around to help or assist him with anything.He was rushed to UCI Trauma Center in Orange off"The City Drive"where he was immediatly rushed into surgery to address a brain hemrage/Bleeding,several broken ribs,broken hip,fractured pelvis and alot of serious road rash.They had to remove part of his skull to allow room for the swelling of the brain and drain approx 1 liter of blood from the brain.he also had to under go a blood tranfusion which was is very tricky due the fact he could reject it thus putting him in grave danger of losing his life.He is still unresponsive as of today 11/25/2025.It is common for this type of injury to take time to recover and in some instances there is a chance that he may not come out of this.Everything is looking as good as we can expect considering the circumstances.I am setting a go fund me page to hopefully raise some to pay his bills such as insurance,storage,credit cards ect...All donations will go into a seperate account that will be in linda's name as she will be in charge of the account.All donations will be greatly appreciated and put towards Ed's recovery which is very likely to be quite long, even once he gets released.Please say a prayer for Ed as he is fighting for his life.Again all donations will help tremendously.Thank you and God Bless You!!
