Help Dwight's Recovery from a Shattered Femur

This is my dad. Dwight Shelton. His second home has basically been a hospital ever since the end of 2019. He has about died multiple times. By the grace of God, he’s still here. December 21st, he fell and broke his femur bone. He shattered it so bad, that he had to have major surgery and was in rehab up until last weekend. He has Medicare, and as most of you know, it only pays for 20 days. His orthopedic doctor said he could not bear weight on this leg for 90 days. My mom fought hard to get him emergency Medicaid. It took so long to finally come through and dad ended up sitting in the nursing home not getting the therapy he needed for a long time because his insurance ran out. Medicaid finally comes through but my parents are still responsible for what Medicare/Medicaid is not covering. They are not involved in this and I just wanted to try and do this page to help them out. The last couple of years have been rough for my family and I am forever grateful my daddy is still here! If we can lessen the stress of this financial burden, it would help them tremendously.
