My name is Duane, and I’m building something called Mindling.

This started because I kept running into the same problem in my own work. AI can help me build faster than I ever could alone, but speed creates a new kind of mess. A chat says one thing, the code says another, the task tracker is behind, and by the end it can be hard to tell what was actually done, what was tested, and what still needs a real human decision.

Mindling is my attempt to fix that.

The idea is simple: if AI is going to help build things, there needs to be a way to keep the work organized, reviewed, proven, and approved. Not just “the AI said it was done,” but actual scope, evidence, QA, notes, and a clear decision before something is called finished.

I already have a working internal version. It is not a finished product yet, but it is real. I have been using it to help organize the development of Mindling itself.

I am raising money for the next 90 days so I can keep building without losing momentum. The funds will help cover the practical costs of development: AI coding tools, local development costs, demo polish, documentation, and the time and stability needed to turn this from an internal proof into something other people can try.

My first public goal is $4,000. That is the first milestone, not the ceiling. It gives me a real 90-day push to keep building, polish the demo, prepare early-user materials, and show progress clearly. The larger full-runway goal is $25,000, but I want to start with a reachable milestone and build from there.

This is not an investment. It is not a loan. It does not come with equity, repayment, revenue share, or a guaranteed return. It is support for the development of the product and for me as the person building it.
