Hello world, my name is Asmaa (l am dental student in 4th level ) , I am reaching out to you from the heart of the Gaza Strip, where every day seems like a battle for survival. But amidst the chaos and despair, there is a glimmer of hope. I am writing this story after much thought, but my urgent need for emergency surgery and the need to find a home, clean food and water for my brothers and sisters as well as to allow me to complete my education with my sister Roaa. We are seeking support amidst the lack of security, and I find myself compelled to reach out, I am in dire need of your generous support to help me
On October 13, we became homeless as our entire area was forced to evacuate under heavy carpet bombardment by the Israeli occupation. Our story of constant displacement is beyond words; we went from being a happy family with a bright future to a family whose greatest hope is simply to survive. We were displaced over 13 times while in the north of Gaza.
On November 19, 2023, my family and I were displaced in a school when it was bombed. This incident claimed the lives of my mother, my uncle and his children. At the same time, my brothers and I were left badly injured and were in desperate need of medical attention.
My injury was in my hand, I had a fracture in my hand bone and problems with my hand nerves. I had many operations but now I need another emergency operation to solve the nerve problem (as you know I am a dental student and my academic and professional life depends on the movement of my hand and the movement of my fingers) because this injury affected the movement of my hand and fingers. The doctors told me that the operation I needed was very difficult and expensive.
my family live in a plastic tent of nylon, suffering from sickness, freezing from cold, struggling from the mud when it rains and the sound of bombings that doesn't stop.
We live a primitive life without electricity, without the Internet, without clean water or clean food. The sewage around us enters the tents, insects eat us, sand mixes with our food, we do not have a private bathroom.

How the money will be used:-
The money raised will be used to cover the cost of the surgery I need (a nerve transfer), cover the cost of the essential medications I need, the cost of the physiotherapy sessions that will be after the surgery, and to provide food, clean water and other basic necessities for my family. This money directly supports my immediate needs and will help improve the living conditions of my family.
Conclusion:-
My story is one of many in Gaza, where survival often seems like an impossible task. With your support, there is hope. Please consider donating to help me receive the treatment and care I need and find some comfort in the darkness. Thank you for your compassion and support.
