Help detained refugees purchase COVID essentials

Allies to End Detention is a small grassroots organization that sends modest commissary / humanitarian relief to refugees held in US detention centers, especially Otay Mesa at the San Diego / Tijuana border.   Please join us in raising enough money to make sure all 250 detainees on our list have enough commissary to buy essential hygiene items like soap, antibacterial, and toilet paper.  Due to Corona virus, our courageous friends inside--including many people who have stood up to corrupt regimes abroad and fled here seeking freedom--are at extraordinary health risk.  Let's be the people who respond to crisis with dignity and empathy by helping people who are more vulnerable than ourselves.  Please see the words of Giscard, a Cameroonian refugee detained in Alabama.  "We have work to do."
