Dave Moraga has been dealing with many complications since having a gastric sleeve surgery in July 2016. His body unfortunately never adjusted to the surgery and he has never been able to properly heal. This has caused a multitude of problems for him with continuous visits to the hospital. His most recent complication resulted in having to have another surgery on 12/26/17 to remove a stone from his bile duct. While trying to recover, he had the hiccups for 5 days straight. He went to the doctor and he got Thorazine. He took 1 and it knocked him out for like 27 hours. Bobbie couldn’t wake him up yesterday morning he would open an eye and then back out. She finally got him up at 8 at night and he hadn’t used the restroom and was saying that he was having trouble breathing so she made him go to the hospital. They took blood and his wbc was 28,000. They did some X-rays and found fluid around his liver. So they put in a drain this morning and they are testing the fluid to see if that is where the infection is. With the uncertainty of when they can get back to working consistently, and with bills already behind, I, on behalf of everyone who loves them ask for a donation of any kind to help ease some of this burden off of them. They have always been people to help others in need and now they need us. Their focus should be on getting Dave’s health back on track.
