Creole Orleans Food Truck Damage

My name is Perly Ali. I am the chef and owner of Creole Orleans food truck and catering. I operate a small family owned business located in Greenbriar Mall food court as well as a food trailer that vends at local food truck parks, corporate, and private events. A little over a year ago we worked very hard selling plates out of our garage and delivering plates all over ATL to save up and raise enough money to purchase our dream Food Trailer. We purchased an 18 foot fully equipped Food trailer with brand new kitchen appliances, and high quality generator to began our journey with so much pride in our hearts. We purchased the trailer at right around $45K and the generator right around 2K. The trailer is our pride and joy as we remember the trials we endured to make the purchase and keep the trailer in the middle of a pandemic. The trailer is our bread and butter, it’s how we feed our family. Unfortunately on the evening of December 1st around 8:30pm someone stole our food trailer from the Greenbriar Mall parking lot on camera. We are devastated and heartbroken to say the least. We don’t think the trailer will be returned and after lots of prayer and the suggestions of our loyal customers and supporters we decided to create a gofundme to not allow the thieves to put an end to our journey and so we can purchase a new truck as soon as possible. We have obligations and bookings that we can not fulfill without our trailer. Prior bookings and corporate events. Those who booked us will also miss out on their events unfortunately and tbh that saddens us very much. We understand it’s the holidays, however; we stand strong in our faith and we are asking for any type of donation via this fundraiser to replace the stolen food trailer, the equipment, and the generator.
