Help us cover Viken's medical expenses

Hello, my name is Christina Aghjian, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for assistance. My family and I are facing a crisis, and we desperately need your help.

We are an Armenian family residing in Lebanon, and our beloved father is battling a severe case of diabetes. His health has deteriorated significantly over the years, and he is currently in a critical condition. Our father has been bravely fighting this disease for over four decades, but the toll it has taken on his body is immense.

Ten years ago, he underwent a risky open-heart surgery, which was followed by the amputation of his big toe on his right leg five years ago due to complications from diabetes. Unfortunately, the challenges did not end there. Less than a year ago, we were forced to make the heartbreaking decision to amputate all five toes on his remaining foot. And just a few weeks ago, he underwent another devastating amputation, this time from the knee down on his right leg.

Despite our efforts to manage his condition and provide him with the best possible care, his health continues to decline rapidly. To make matters worse, his left leg is now showing signs of infection, with redness and swelling spreading. We are deeply concerned about the possibility of losing his other leg to this infection, and we are determined to do everything in our power to save it.

Our family is emotionally and financially drained, and we are struggling to cover the overwhelming medical expenses required to keep our father alive. The cost of his surgeries, medications, and ongoing treatments is beyond what we can afford, and we fear that we may lose him if we cannot provide him with the care he urgently needs.

This is why we are turning to you, our friends, family, and compassionate strangers, for support. We have set up this GoFundMe campaign in the hopes of raising enough funds to cover our father's medical expenses and give him a fighting chance at recovery.
