Help Cooky get back on his feet

On the 12th of August our mate and brother was tragically struck by a car that failed to give way as he was riding to a charity event. He sustained the following injuries and was flown to the Alfred hospital for emergency surgery. Compound fracture of his Femur above the knee,severe lacerations of knee and shin,cracked pelvis and ribs,and badly bruised shoulder. He has had two surgeries so far and will require more down the track. Cooky's time of recovery will be about 12 months before He can work again without any further complications. He will also spend the next 2 to 3 months in hospital. Lucky to survive but unlucky as he had just started a new job and had only just got his bike back on the road after a previous accident.
