Help Colette Heal: Support Her Journey to Recovery

My amazing mom, Colette, is one of the strongest people I know. She went from attending karate classes three to four times a week to needing help just to get out of bed.

Recently, Colette was diagnosed with two crushed discs in her lower back, surrounded by a serious infection. She spent a week in the hospital and is now home with a PICC line in her arm. Every day, we administer antibiotics through the line, and she's on constant pain medication and muscle relaxers to manage the discomfort.

As soon as the infection clears, Colette will undergo back surgery. Her doctors expect her full recovery to take about 16–20 weeks — and we're only in week 4. This means there's still a long road ahead, with significant medical expenses and daily care needs along the way.

We've set our fundraising goal at $8,500, which will help cover out-of-pocket medical bills, medications, and essential living expenses during her recovery. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping Colette heal and get back to the active life she loves.
