Help Chris cover emergency legal bills!

Hi friends! I've been in Canada since 2014 and am very close to fulfilling my dream of permanent residency. Unfortunately, some last minute red tape obstacles have required for me to hire an immigration lawyer to sort these out and bring my application to a successful end. I'd be most grateful if you could help me cover these bills, as I'm currently a full-time student who can only work part time on a student visa.

The lawyer I hired has quoted me a price of between $1600-2200 CAD, so I'm hoping to raise as close as possible to this amount. If there would be any money left over after the legal bills, I would donate it to Rainbow Refugee, a Canadian organization helping LGBTQIA+ refugees settle in Canada.
