I'm raising money in aid of Pégé Children Foundation which supports marginalised children in Ghana - to gain an education, thereby making a difference in their lives and future. Most of our charity work is linked to supporting Light Shine Community School - a primary & junior secondary school, located in the Central region of Ghana. This school serves the families in the nearby Kasoa community.

I believe that education is the key element in the fight against poverty. The school recently had an extensive building restructure. The school started with twenty students and has now grown to fifty seven students; administered by a head teacher and ten staff.

Pégé Children Foundation is a registered charity United Kingdom that supports the families and maintains the school; recently provided support in building an IT suite and piped clean running water to the school. However, the Ghana water company in that region, facilitate running water only once per week. Therefore, mechanising the broken bore hole is required to further facilitate a better hygiene and sanitation.

The financial responsibilities are currently £16,000 per year including the staff salaries.
