I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a deep sense of urgency. Yesterday, something unexpected happened, chewy had to be rushed to the emergency vet due to pain in the shoulder, and limping going downhill quickly. It was one of the scariest moments of my life.

Chewy was under the care of an amazing team of veterinarians who did everything they can. But the reality is that emergency veterinary care is extremely expensive, and the costs are already piling up. Between diagnostics, medication, and potential surgery or overnight stays, the estimate is currently $1250.
