Hi, my name is Matt Stepanovich, and I’m raising funds for my dear friend, Chay September Stephensen. Chay is in urgent need of dental surgery to remove failed implants that were placed in 2021. These implants have caused constant pain, infection risk, and have made it impossible for her to chew or move forward with her life.

Chay is on a very limited income. She is a traumatic brain injury survivor relying on Social Security and Medicaid, which sadly does not cover the removal procedure. She has tried every option — Medicaid providers, free clinics, dental schools — but no one has been able to help. She’s now at the point where the implants must come out immediately to prevent further damage.

We are raising $5,000 to cover the removal ( and possible future dental prosthetics after removal )of Chay’s FAILED all on four procedure she had done in 2021 in Ajijic Mexico at Dental express.

I’ve known Chay for several years, and in my experience, she’s generally been a very positive and upbeat person — the kind of person who lifts up others even when life is hard. Right now, she’s at the end of her rope, and she needs us to lift her up.

Where the money goes:

• Dental implant removal

• possible dental prosthetics to restore function

• Any leftover funds will go toward ongoing dental care or will be donated to a dental charity

Why this matters:

Without this surgery, Chay can’t eat properly, work, or plan for her future. She usually works part time to supplement her very low social security income but is unable to at this time due to the prosthetics virtually hanging out of her mouth!!!!

This is not cosmetic — it’s a medical necessity and key to restoring her independence and dignity.
