At just 18 months old, Carson was diagnosed with leukemia and began the fight of his life.

Hi, my name is Veronica Fernandez, and I’m creating this GoFundMe for my best friend Adriana Perez and her partner Christopher Mills and their sweet baby boy, Carson.

At just 18 months old, Carson was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL), an aggressive cancer of the blood and bone marrow. One moment he was a happy, playful toddler, and the next his parents were surrounded by doctors hearing the words no parent should ever hear “your child has cancer.”

Since Carson’s diagnosis, Adriana made the heartbreaking decision to leave her job so she can be by Carson’s side full time during treatment. Carson began treatment in June 2025, and his journey is expected to last about two years and half years, including intense chemotherapy, frequent hospital visits, and long clinic days.

Christopher is a proud U.S. Army veteran, and together Adriana and Chris are doing everything they can to stay strong for their children, Carson and his big sister Aylani. But with Adriana unable to work and the costs of medical care, transportation to and from the hospital, and everyday living expenses, the financial strain has become overwhelming.

We are asking for help so Adriana and Chris can focus on what matters most — helping Carson fight cancer and heal.
