My name is Carina Gojan, singer-songwriter and composer from the Republic of Moldova. I am a senior at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts, one of the most prestigious music schools in the world. I have been attending Berklee College with the assistance of a sponsor based in Odesa, Ukraine. As a part of the sponsorship I’ve been living in Odesa for the last year, where I was working as a composer.
My goal is to return in the Fall 2022 and finish my degree, but due to the war in Ukraine I had to leave Odesa. Unfortunately, my sponsor is no longer able to finance my studies and my family cannot afford it.
I am only one semester short of graduation and I feel a huge responsibility to complete my education in Contemporary Writing and Production, arranging music and writing original songs.
With your help, I can graduate from my dream school and continue my career in the US as a composer. I have already applied for a scholarship from Berklee College, but it will not be enough to cover the tuition. I am trying to save some money as well.
Your funding will be used for:
-- Tuition fees ($23,206)
-- Course expenses (books, music software, etc.)
-- Relocation, accommodation & living costs
-- My creative and artistic development which will hopefully benefit music lovers everywhere.
