My name is Diana Maricic. For many years, I have dedicated my life to rescuing and caring for abandoned, abused, and hungry animals from the streets. Today, 80 rescued cats, and sometimes other animals in need, rely on me for food, shelter, and love.

But my small home is overflowing. There’s simply no more space… and every day, I get calls about more animals in desperate need. Turning them away breaks my heart.

My dream is to buy a countryside property with a big yard – a place where rescued cats can run, play, and live freely and safely, and where I can welcome more animals in need: injured, abandoned, or neglected. This would become the first dedicated cat shelter in Bosnia and Herzegovina, offering safety, comfort, and love to those who have known only suffering.

With €30,000, I can buy the property and start building a safe haven for them. Every donation, no matter the size, will help change countless lives.

These animals have suffered enough. Together, we can give them a second chance – a forever home filled with love, safety, and hope.
