Help build a boat and skills of youngsters

I am Nathan and I will be building a Globe 5.80 here in the Azores that will be racing locally once completed and will take part in the Atlantis Cup regatta, an Ocean race that takes in all 9 islands of the Azores, with a view to bigger possibilities. I am at the moment in the process of sourcing suppliers of materials and would like to empower local youngsters who would like the opportunity to work with me to learn new skills in composite boatbuilding.

I am also going to start looking for sponsors, patreons, gofund me, and any other means to make this come true.

The boat is a Class globe 5.80 - a new one design ocean racing boat, that measures 5.80m, 19ft. At the present time there are builders in 27 countries , over 48 boats are being built, Quite amazing as the class was only launched in 2020 just before the Pandemic . I will be building the boat and I would like to enable young people who have a passion to learn a skill , working beside me, learning hands on, real skills that I have gained in building previous boats, ie. woodwork, composite epoxy construction, metalwork, planning, lofting, electrics, tool safety and more that would enable them to have the skills to either create their own dream boat or more.
