As many of you know, Carter and her family took a vacation to Germany on September 18. Unbeknownst to them, their fun filled trip would turn into an unimaginable nightmare. On September 27, the day they were set to fly out, they found her dad, Jim, unresponsive. He was found to have a sub dural hematoma and was rushed into emergency surgery for a craniotomy. As you can imagine, this has led to a lengthy ICU stay in Germany as well as an extended stay for Carter and Mark. Medical expenses are piling up as well as the cost of hotel stays, food, toiletries etc. The plan, when Jim is stable for transfer, is to med flight him back to the US.
