Help Bring Seniors & Teens Together!

Hello! My name is Madison Chilcott and I am 16 years old. I recently completed my last year of dance in order to take the time to volunteer in our community during my last year of high school. I wondered if there was a way I would be able to combine my love for dances and the arts and my passion for volunteering with seniors... and this is where I came up with Yester Years Productions!!!
I, with the help of many young and inspired people, have developed an exciting program called "Yester Years Productions"! Yester Years Productions provides young people the chance to voluntarily contribute to an entertainment production that is designed and performed for the seniors in our community!
The time that the young people put into practices and performances counts as volunteer hours and experience, as well as it gives them the chance to connect with a very special generation in our community. Our program provides the seniors in our community with quality entertainment and lots of joy and laughter!!
We are now in need of funding in order to put on a fabulous production, which we believe the seniors deserve. We plan to use your donations to purchase costumes, costume accessories, props (such as portable red curtains), portable speakers that we can play music on at each performance and to pay for space rentals. If we have money leftover, we plan to save it for future years of productions!
Our first performances have already been booked at local senior residences in Surrey! Our showcase lineup will include dance, music, acting and a basket giveaway for our senior audiences!
We have had such great response from our community and we know that this program will have such a fantastic impact on everyone involved!
I am thankful to have received lots of guidance and mentor ship from my past dance studio director, a youth adviser at a local community centre, and my teachers and family!
Myself and my group sincerely appreciate every dollar you contribute to our program, and we promise to put it to very good use!
