Help bring Rose home to her family

We are raising money for the funeral expenses of my friend Rose Misener and to bring her home to Nova Scotia from Alberta. Rose passed away unexpectedly on May 26th.

Rose grew up here in Nova Scotia but she had been working in Alberta for the last 10 years or so. I met Rose when we were teenagers. Our kids grew up together and we were "aunts" to each others kids. We may have been apart a lot over the last 30 years, but when we got together it was like no time had passed.

Her daughter, sons, brothers, grandchildren, nieces and nephews all live here. Her mother passed just 2 years ago. Rose loved her family and friends and would do anything for them. She would always come home for birthdays. She would insist on having a big dinner and always wanted to take lots of pictures. She was so loving and generous. She had many friends and family that loved her and she will be greatly missed by them all. We want to bring her back home with her family for good. She had no family in Alberta so we need to go to Edmonton to get her and bring her back to Halifax.

The money will be used for travel expenses to and from Edmonton as well as the funeral expenses. Any money left will go to her grandkids who lovingly called her YaYa.
