Help Bring Our Family Together at a Time of Loss

To our family and friends;

As you know our dear Sumita - daughter, wife, sister and mother - passed away suddenly this October in The Hague. This loss has been devastating for us all. And Simon, Ishaan, and Riya, who continue to live in the Netherlands, will spend their first Christmas since Sumita's death far away from the warmth of family. Our wish this special season is to send some of the Ottawa family - Janis, Matt, Livia, Jory - to be with them.

Over the past several months, many, many of you have asked us how you can support the family in our loss. And so in the weeks leading up to the holidays we are asking for your support by giving to an air travel fund that will make this family reunion a reality. With the high cost for a family of four to travel in this busy season, our goal is $10,000.

We understand the strain so many of us may be experiencing these days. As such, we ask for monetary support only from those who are in a position to freely offer it. And as is often said, no amount is too small.
