Monday, June 1, 2026, a typical beach day turned into a tragedy.

Marquest Andre Page Jr., known as Dre, was visiting the beach with his longtime girlfriend, children, and friends to celebrate one of his biggest achievements—the opening of his business. They were there to enjoy the sand and the view of the water, dressed in regular attire and not planning to swim.

When his 3-year-old stepdaughter, Naomi, went into the water to retrieve a sand toy that was being washed away, Dre immediately ran into the ocean to save her. He was able to get Naomi safely pulled from the water. Dre was then taken by a water current; he had disappeared beneath the surface.

We are asking for donations to help with expenses related to bringing family members in from out of state and assisting with search and rescue efforts. If you are unable to donate, please keep his family, children, friends, and loved ones in your prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
