Our cat Axel, who we have just recently adopted, has gone missing in the Montville/Norwich, CT area. He went missing on the morning of November 2nd, and we are absolutely heartbroken and devastated. My boyfriend Kevin and I, are doing everything we can to bring him home safely.

We have hired a professional lost pet rescuer who has been working tirelessly with specialized equipment, tracking tools, field time, and expert strategies to help locate Axel. His expertise has already given us real hope, and he has been incredibly dedicated—searching, setting up equipment, and guiding us through every step.

On November 4th, Axel was caught on a nearby trail camera, giving us hope that he is still out there and trying to find his way home. Since then, we have been searching nonstop, following every lead, and doing everything we possibly can to bring him back safely.

Because this type of rescue work involves significant time, travel, and specialized gear, we are creating this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of his services. Every dollar donated will go directly toward the rescuer’s professional fees, equipment use, and ongoing search efforts.

We are emotionally exhausted, but we refuse to give up on finding Axel to bring him home.
