Please help Brandy Kinsey Williams Fight Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer

Hi, everyone. My name is Heather Calimag, and I'm reaching out on behalf of Brandy Williams, one of my best friends and a part of my family.

Our sweet Brandy was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in January 2024… Of course, This news has been a devastating blow to her and those who love her.

As Brandy focuses on battling cancer, we want to help alleviate the burden of her mounting medical expenses. Your support, whether big or small, can make a significant difference in Brandy’s fight against this disease, and allow her to take some time to rest and recover between treatments. They have quietly struggled, and not shared with many just how financially strained things have become, but as much as she hates it, Brandy is now allowing me to reach out on her behalf.

In the last 5 months she has been repeatedly hospitalized, undergone both major and minor surgeries, had multiple procedures, biopsies, countless labs, scans, tests, and visits to the ED, and has been receiving aggressive chemo since April.
She has at least 12 weeks left in this round of chemo and will then find out if the chemo is working and if she’s done, or if she will need additional chemo, radiation, immunotherapy, or a maintenance chemo. The costs of treatment, medications, and ongoing medical care are substantial. Brandy has good medical insurance, but even the best insurance only pays so much, and the cancer treatment is expensive.

The journey to beating this disease has been and remains a difficult one.

Brandy may be physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially exhausted, but she continues to fight every day. I’ve always told her she is the strongest, most sincere woman that I’ve ever known. That statement stands to this day.

Despite the struggles and challenges that she has faced these last 5 months, as well as those that still lie ahead, Brandy has clung to her faith and belief that God and God alone is in control and will have the final say. She is confident that this will be part of her testimony of God’s love because He will heal her body from this disease and restore her health.

Short of a few weeks during her surgeries, she has also continued to work full time as well as some OT in an attempt to stay ahead of the growing debt from her treatments, but her body is starting to give out, and the debt keeps growing.
She is finding it harder and harder to work full-time and doesn’t know how much longer she is going to be able to keep up her schedule.
Brandys husband, Franky, had to shut down his logging business around the time she was diagnosed. He was then out of work for a few months acting as her caregiver and chauffeur during her initial surgeries and treatments. He was eventually able to go back to work but was forced to take a pay cut.

Her journey will not be over for quite a while, so every donation, every share, and especially every prayer counts. Let's come together as a community to support Brandy during this challenging time. Your generosity will not only provide financial relief but also serve as a powerful source of hope and strength for her.

Please consider donating and sharing this with your friends and family. Let's rally behind Brandy and show her that she is not alone in this battle. If you cannot donate, please share. Any effort to get to the goal will help our angel on earth.

As Brandy always says, “God’s grace is sufficient!” 2 Corinthians 12:9
