Help Brandon and His Mom Find New Shelter
Donation protected
The home of so many family memories is now just ashes. I grew up in this house since my parents purchased it in 1982. I built all the fences and gates around it with my dad. In 2022, my dad passed away, and I moved back home to help my disabled mom. We are now homeless and at the mercy of insurance companies. Please help us in any way you can, even if it's just a few bucks. My dad was an artist, and we lost a lot of his paintings in the Palisades fire as well. My mom is disabled, and she didn't know there was a fire in the Palisades until over an hour after it started. I'm the 2nd shift transportation coordinator in a hospital. I don't start work until the afternoon. Thank God I was home! Because the fire started after 10:30 am. The last item I put in the car before we left was her walker/rollator. She just had knee surgery at the end of September. Here is my website if you want to check out some pictures of his paintings that are just memories now. https://fineartamerica.com/profiles/1-brandon-day
1:02:33 is the house now. Right of the mailbox - white chimney and big tree.
We built a zen garden for him. I had a solar light shine on his plaque to remember him. It's all gone, along with my mom's violin that she played as a teenager. Housing would be the best donation. However, we are in a desperate situation. Thank you for trying to help.
