We are reaching out on behalf of a remarkable young woman from Brazil who has become part of our family while studying here in the United States. She is an international student with a 3.9 GPA, known for her kindness, determination, and deep commitment to her education. She works part-time on campus — the maximum allowed under her student visa — and she is just one semester away from graduating.

Unfortunately, her single mother back home cannot afford the remaining tuition needed for her to enroll in her final semester. Despite every effort, and with no help from her father, she now faces the heartbreaking possibility of not being able to finish the degree she’s worked so hard for.

This student comes from a country where opportunities are limited and access to quality education is not guaranteed. Yet, through her perseverance and strength, she has built a life here grounded in learning, community, and hope. We have been honored to sponsor her housing and meals while she studies — but the tuition must be paid in full for her to continue.
