Help Ben get to the Junior World Championships
Spende geschützt
Hi Everyone,
My name is Ben Harvey, I am 16 years old & have been practising Karate since I was 6. I have been representing Victoria for over 8 years & Australia for 7 years. I am 10 times Victorian Champion & 5 times National Champion. I have also won 4 Commonwealth medals in India & Canada, plus 3 Oceania medals in New Caledonia and New Zealand among many others. I've also represented Australia at the Junior World Championships in Spain in 2017. I recently attained my Senior 1st Dan black belt.
I also help my Father teach Karate at our Kimekai dojo in Berwick, Victoria. We have a growing number of students & we believe we are providing a very positive, confidence building syllabus to the young people of Casey, which is essential in today's world, which is full of online, mental & physical bullying.
As you can see Karate is my passion & takes me all over the World. But unfortunately it is all self funded which makes it very financially challenging for my Parents.
Hence, my reason for this page. I will be competing at the Pacific Cup in New Caledonia, plus I am delighted to say that I have been selected to represent Australia once again at the Junior World Championships, in Santiago, Chile in October this year.
The total cost of these 2 tournaments, along with flights & accommodation is going to cost close to $10,000 . If there is any way you are able to help my Family & I with the expense, we would be truly grateful. You can also visit Ben Harvey Karate Athlete on Facebook to see my progress.
Thank you so much, Ben Harvey.
