Hello there, my close friends know me as Theropod-Art online, but my IRL name is Jeffrey Comstock.
Last night around 7pm I had to rush my beloved Moroccan uromastyx lizard, Beanbag, to the emergency exotic vet. He was pooping blood, seemingly out of nowhere. Upon getting to the vet and running a myriad of tests, we learned Beanbag has a Urolith/Internalith inside of his body that is about the size of a golf ball. This has also caused him to become chronically anemic.
These vet bill expenses are growing so quickly and so big, we are expecting to have to pay 2000-2500 dollars for the surgery and he will likely need a blood transfusion. Which would cost us an additional 800 dollars on top of the surgery costs.
My fiance and I, on our own, can't afford this. Please help us and help Beanbag. Beanbag is still lively and squirmy and has a lot of fighting spirit left. He is only 5 years old and has a whole lizard life ahead of him. He is our family and I need to do right by him.
Thank you so much for reading.
