Help Baby Raiden Come Home

Hello everyone. We are starting this GoFundMe on behalf of our newest family member, Raiden Carter Sartain. Kaylee and her husband Joseph were expecting their first child on September 25th 2021. Last week, she was rushed to the emergency room because of unexpected bleeding. Two days later, she had to have an emergency C-section on August 3rd. Baby Raiden was born weighing a little over four pounds. Due to being premature, Raiden was being cared for in the NICU. He was doing well for the first few days while under observation. During a checkup, the doctor discovered a blockage in his intestine, which caused it to rupture, leading to his immediate transport to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. While there, he went in for emergency surgery to remove the blockage. The first surgery went well, but the doctor does not want to perform the second one to repair his intestines until Raiden is stronger and more stable. Raiden is a fighter, but he still has a long road ahead of him before he is strong enough to go home. We are starting this campaign to help offset Kaylee's and Raiden's medical expenses and costs of ongoing treatment and recovery. If you are able to donate, it is deeply appreciated.
