Help Baby Kolton Asher Winchester & Family

My name is Nona Maria Pitts, and I am fundraising on behalf of my long-time friend Melissa Winchester, her newly born son Kolton, husband Todd, and son Kaden.

For 14 years, Melissa has helped run my business. I have watched her grow immensely in her personal and professional life and could not be prouder of her or more thankful for always being there for me.

Todd and Melissa married in 2012 and welcomed their first son, Kaden, into the world in August 2016.

On July 22nd, 2022, Melissa had an emergency C-section to deliver baby #2, Kolton Asher. What began as a beautiful journey quickly became the challenge of a lifetime.

Despite all the best prenatal care, Kolton was born with a condition called Miller-Dieker Syndrome(MDS). MDS occurs when a genetic deletion in the 17th chromosome causes the brain to grow abnormaly.

We don't know how much time Kolton will have with his new family, but there are two things we know for sure.

First, Kolton will be comfortable and showered with love and affection from his family and friends while they get to spend time together.

Second, on top of everything else, the Winchester's are now faced with unsurmountable financial responsibility to care for Kolton and their household.
