My name is Aya, and I am writing these words with a heavy heart, hoping that someone will hear our story and help my family find a way forward.

Before the war, my husband Majd and I lived a simple but stable life with our three daughters. Majd worked as a software engineer and spent years building his career to provide us with a decent life. We were never rich, but we had a home, security, and plans for our children's future. Like every parent, our greatest dream was simply to see our daughters grow up healthy, educated, and safe.

That life disappeared when the war reached us.

Our home was destroyed, and in a matter of moments we lost almost everything we had spent years building. We lost our furniture, clothes, personal belongings, family memories, and the financial stability that had taken so much effort to achieve. Overnight, we found ourselves with nothing except each other.

The months that followed were filled with fear, repeated displacement, hunger, uncertainty, and the daily struggle to survive. Every day we searched for safety, clean water, food, and medical care while trying to protect our daughters from the reality surrounding them. No parent should ever have to explain to their children why they have no home anymore or why tomorrow is uncertain.

The war left permanent scars on every member of my family.

My husband Majd suffered serious injuries that completely changed our lives. He now requires ongoing medical care, medications, rehabilitation, and continuous follow-up with specialists. Because of his injuries, he is no longer able to support our family the way he once did, and every stage of his recovery brings new medical and financial challenges.

Our eldest daughter, Mona, suffered a severe shoulder injury that requires specialized treatment and long-term physical rehabilitation. Beyond her physical injury, she continues to struggle with the psychological trauma caused by everything she experienced during the war. She also needs speech therapy and psychological support to help her recover and regain the confidence that every child deserves.

As for me, I am trying to care for my husband, support my daughters, and keep our family together while dealing with my own health problems. Every day is a balance between caring for those I love and trying not to lose hope.

we traveled to egypt so that my husband and daughter could continue receiving medical treatment that was no longer available to them during the war. Reaching safety did not mean our hardships ended.

Today we are facing expenses that are far beyond what we can manage alone. We must pay for rent, food, medications, medical examinations, rehabilitation sessions, transportation to hospitals and clinics, and the many daily necessities that every family needs to survive. We also hope to help our daughters return to school and begin rebuilding the future that the war interrupted.

Every donation will go directly toward helping our family rebuild our lives. Your support will help us secure safe housing, provide food and basic necessities, continue Majd's medical treatment and rehabilitation, cover Mona's physical therapy, speech therapy, and psychological care, pay for medications and hospital visits, and give our daughters the opportunity to continue their education instead of losing even more of their childhood.

I know there are many families asking for help, and I never imagined that one day I would be one of them. Before the war, we worked hard to build our own future. Today, after losing almost everything, I am simply asking for a chance to help my family recover and move forward.
