Urgent Help for Aya & Medo – Forced to Evacuate
Spende geschützt
My name is Aya, and I’m from North Gaza.
I’m writing these words from beneath the rubble, where we no longer have a home, no income, and not even the basic necessities of life. But the greatest pain lies ahead of us: I suffer from a serious heart condition and severe hypertension. My health is critical, unstable, and deteriorating day by day.
Beside me is my little brother Medo, who is just a child, yet suffers from malnutrition and weakness. He has lost so much weight because we simply don’t have food to give him.
I urgently need medical treatment abroad — but we cannot afford the cost of travel, diagnosis, or care. We have lost everything in this war.
- Our home was destroyed
- My marketing business was shut down
- Our car was crushed under the debris
- We now live in a single surviving room of my grandmother’s bombed house
And yet, we still hold on to hope—that someone out there might extend a helping hand.
Below is Aya’s medical report, confirming her heart condition and urgent need for treatment:
What We Need Now:
- Urgent Priority: Treating Aya outside of Gaza
- Full cost of travel, medical care, and medications
- Then, we dream of accessing education—
for Aya, for my other sister Dana (who was also injured in the war), and for myself
- Finally, we hope to rebuild a warm and safe home for our family
Funding Breakdown – Why We Need $75,000
Our total goal is $75,000, and every dollar is crucial to helping Aya and our family survive and rebuild. Here's how the funds will be used:
- $35,000 – Medical treatment abroad for Aya, including travel, surgery, medications, and follow-up
- $10,000 – Emergency living expenses (food, clothing, hygiene needs)
- $10,000 – Educational support for Aya, Dana, and myself (tuition, materials, devices)
- $20,000 – Rebuilding a safe home for our family after losing everything in the war
These are not luxuries—they are the basics of survival and recovery. Your support means everything to us.
How You Can Help:
- Share our story
- Donate whatever you can
- Be the reason a life is saved and a family is rebuilt
- Every moment without treatment puts Aya’s life at risk.
- We are not asking for much—just a chance to live.
Meet Our Family – The Skaik Family from Gaza
We are the Skaik family, a close and loving household from Gaza, struggling to survive after losing everything in the recent war.
- Rami Skaik – our father, 48 years old
- Fayza Skaik – our mother, 47 years old
- Adeeb Skaik – my older brother, 25 years old
- Dana Skaik – my sister, 22 years old
- Kareem Skaik – my little brother, 12 years old
- Medo Skaik – our youngest, just 6 years old
- And me, Aya Skaik – 18 years old, fighting a serious heart condition

We were once a hopeful family building a future, but the war shattered our home, our health, and our dreams. Now, we hold on to hope—and to each other.
