Help Support Our Ashland High School Marching Band After Instrument Theft & Keep the Music Alive!

The Ashland High School Band Boosters proudly support our Marching Band and Sweeties Dance Team—students who have dedicated countless hours to their craft and to representing our school and community with pride.

Since 2022, our students have been working toward a dream: performing at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Through years of fundraising, practice, and perseverance, that dream was finally within reach this Spring Break.

Then, just one day before our performance, tragedy struck.

On the night of March 28th, our band trailer was vandalized. Thieves cut off the locks and stole several instruments—belonging to hardworking students who had poured their hearts into this moment. It was a devastating blow that threatened to take away a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

But our story doesn’t end there.

Thanks to the incredible dedication of our band directors and the resilience of our students, replacement instruments were quickly secured through rentals. Against all odds, our band marched on Main Street in Magic Kingdom the next day—turning heartbreak into triumph.

While the performance was saved, the financial impact remains.

Our district administration continues to work with the insurance company to recover the cost of the instruments and emergency rentals. We are now raising funds to offer continued support to our band. Every donation—big or small—helps restore what was lost and ensures our students can continue making music without interruption.
