Help Ann Jordan

My dear friend Ann Jordan is in need of our help. She has just lost her husband Alan to a long battle with cancer. I have known Ann and Alan for over 40 years as best of friends. They were always willing to help other people and I know many of you have received their help. Ann was an equal partner in the Braille Rally and there is no way I could have done it without her. Alan contributed as a driver and doing what ever was needed. For 37 years Alan was involved with the 12-step program for the clean and sober. These are only a few of the examples of their willingness to help other people.


Alan was treated for cancer at Roswell without success. During this time, he suffered a rupture of the intestinal wall and required emergency surgery. After only a short time he came down with the COVID-19 virus and was put on oxygen. Last week it was determined that he should receive help from Hospice. He passed away this morning 1/10/2021.


His loving wife Ann has also had a very tough year. She has not only been taking care of Alan but had a hip replacement last Summer and then fell and broke her arm about a month ago. There has not been much income at the Jordan home for over a year and Ann will certainly need help with expenses and especially medical bills.

I know we have all had a difficult year but I hope you can see it in your heart and finances to help her out no matter how small or large.
