I'm Celeste. I've created this GoFundMe to help my best friend and neighbour in her battle against ovarian cancer. Angela has already beat Thyroid cancer years ago and is in the thick of the fight again as she undergoes chemotherapy to overcome ovarian cancer.
Angela is scheduled for surgery on Friday, August 13th. To supplement her cancer treatment, she has paid over out-of-pocket towards additional treatments to battle cancer and minimize the awful symptoms that come with chemotherapy. Not to mention the travel costs associated with attending her treatments at Sunnybrook hospital.
Angela is a fighter! She is the most kind-hearted, thoughtful person I know. Although she is in the biggest battle of her life, she carries a smile day in and day out. Her laugh is a sound I'm not ready to live without so please from the bottom of my heart - please help her and her family so they can just focus on her beating this awful disease. She is optimistic about her future and her family needs our help to lessen the financial burden as the supplementary treatment is not covered by private insurance or OHIP.
