Help Angela and Her Dog Find Safety and Stability

My name is Angela Phillips and Monday the 24th, 2024 I was forced to leave my home after being married since 1985 due to emotional and verbal abuse.

As a result my spouse has convinced our son to stay with him. Our son is 17 years old and we adopted him from Honduras 4 years ago and he is my heart.

i also took my 1-1/2 year old Australian Cattle Dog 1-1/2 old with me, he and I are very bonded, but my husband is demanding him back. 

I found shelter in a Women’s Shelter for Battered Families. I know I have a very long road ahead  beginning at age 5 of me, but I am a person that has survived decades of sexual abuse 5 years old,

i am in need of funds to hire an attorney and help finding some form of shelter, as I can only stay here for 30 days.

i have been a giver all my life and not asked for help for myself. But I need help now for myself and my dog, and hopefully getting joint custody of my son.

i would be appreciative of any help.
