Help Amy's Family Overcome Medical Crisis

7/13/24 update. Amy’s body still isn’t tolerating the needed medications and she’s beginning to have many defibrillation events with her ICD implant. Her stay in the cardio vascular icu continues
Hi, my name is Dan. My wife and I are a flatbed trucking team and we are in a challenging situation. My wife Amy suffered a major heart attack last night in Flagstaff, Arizona, caused by a 100% blockage to her “widow maker” artery. She’s currently in the cardiovascular intensive care unit with 60-70% heart damage. She will be facing another surgery tomorrow to get a permanent pacemaker with a defibrillator put in and remove some of the temporary stuff.
It’s most likely the end of my wife’s driving career after 20 years. We have been running long trips of 2-3 months on the road trying to make ends meet for our 3 children at home with the current condition of the industry. This is a major crisis for our family. I’m not the type to put up these sorts of things but we are in a situation where anything helps. Thank you for taking the time to read this and God bless all of you.
Update to Amy’s health. Currently no procedure preformed, her body is not responding well to turning down the impella machine that’s helping to keep her blood moving as her heart is not squeezing hard enough. She is stable but still critical at this time.
Update as of 7/9/24 Amy has been put back into ICU status as her blood pressure is not responding well to her heart trauma. Any help to keep the family on its feet is greatly appreciated
