The Women's Martial Arts Network is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of the Mother of our beloved Contramestra Amazonas, Jana Burton this morning. We are asking for your support to help her and her family with expenses at this time.

Amazonas Jana Burton is a school teacher and committed teaching artist who has always been a dedicated community servant. She travels throughout the community of Newark, New Jersey to teach the children the beautiful art of Capoeira. She sacrifices to teach them self love and discipline keeping them positively anchored to their culture. She works for free and for nominal donations, but never for herself. Please help us help Jana and her family at this time, and give her back the love she gives the children. Thank you for any and all assistance.
