Last-Minute Keeper Call-Up!!

Hi, my name is AJ and I will be 13 years old in a week and a half!

I play soccer as a goalkeeper for a U13 team and I love it more than anything. I’ve been working really hard to get better every season, day by day. This week, I got invited to play in the Nike Surf Cup in San Diego. It’s one of the biggest and best tournaments in the country!

This is really important to me because it’s a chance to play up, with older kids, show what I can do, and maybe even get seen by people who can help me reach my dreams. I want to be a great keeper one day and this is a big step for me.

The only problem is that this trip is so last minute and really expensive. My dad hasn’t been working because he got hurt at work a while ago and barely started his new job, and my mom works at a school but she doesn’t get paid for summer school until later this year. We have to pay for gas, hotel, and food, and it’s really hard for my parents to cover it all right now.

My parents do so much for me and they really want me to be able to go, but I know they need some help. If you can donate anything, it would mean so much to me and my family. Even sharing this with your friends and family would help me out a lot.
