Help Aid Robert Bruce Miller's Journey to Health

After much consideration, we’ve decided to launch a GoFundMe to support my dad, Robert Bruce Miller. Those of you that know me know how much he is a part of my life. However, many of you may not be aware of the significant medical challenges he has faced over the last 2 ½ years—enduring five surgeries, including two spinal procedures. And as he continues his recovery, he faces additional surgeries ahead, adding to the physical, emotional, and financial burden of his journey. These surgeries have left him immobile, and there is much work to get him moving again.

Beyond his own artistic journey, my dad has been a passionate teacher, mentor, and creative guide, inspiring students in both music and art. Through STUDIO UNKNOWN and the many classes he’s taught throughout his lifetime, he has fostered a space for learning and collaboration, shaping the lives of the many who have gotten to know him.

A lifelong musician, he has also brought joy to others as a singer and DJ, filling countless lives with music. His deep love for the arts has touched so many, making his recovery all the more important to those who cherish his impact.

At a time when music and art are disappearing from school curriculums, educators like my dad Bruce are more vital than ever—offering students the chance to explore creativity, find their voices, and connect through artistic expression. His work has been a lifeline for so many, and now he needs support in return. While he does have insurance, the mounting co-pays and medical expenses have become overwhelming.
