Help Chris Walk Again – Support a Young Couple’s Fight for Hope
Hello, my name is Ali, and I’m writing this with a heart full of love, fear, and hope—for my fiancé, Chris, who’s only 27 years old and fighting an unimaginable battle.
Just a few short months ago, Chris was the picture of strength and life. He loved fishing, cooking, exploring the world with me, and dreaming out loud about our future together. He’s the kind of person who always puts everyone else first—family, friends, even strangers. He’s my rock. And now… he’s confined to a bed.
Our lives changed almost overnight.
It started with unexplained weakness in his legs. He was struggling but still managing. Then, just three weeks ago, he suffered a terrifying fall—and everything changed. Now he can’t walk at all. We've been in and out of hospitals for months, going through endless tests, and yet no one knows what’s wrong. It’s heartbreaking to see someone so full of life now bedridden, dependent, and without answers.
Chris is the one who has always carried the weight of our world—emotionally and financially. But now, he's the one who needs help. And as much as he hates asking for it, we can’t do this alone anymore.
---
Why We’re Asking for Help
Chris now needs:
A wheelchair
A ramp to safely get outside
A Hoyer lift to move safely
Constant care and supplies
And we’re facing thousands in medical bills and travel costs just to keep searching for answers.
I’m doing everything I can to take care of him—but I can’t do it without your help. He took care of everyone else for so long. Now it’s his turn to be cared for.

How You Can Help
If you’ve ever known someone who was there for everyone else… If you believe in showing up when life gets hard… If you’ve ever watched someone you love suffer and felt helpless…
Then I’m asking you, from the bottom of my heart:
Please help us.
Your donation—no matter how small—can help us build a safer home, continue his treatments, and give Chris back a sense of hope and dignity.
And if you can’t donate, please share this. Just spreading our story could connect us with someone who can.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being part of this fight with us. You have no idea how much it means.
With all my heart,
Ali.
