My name is Adelia, my partner and I are working hard to create a stable home for my two younger siblings, who are fourteen and twelve. After aging out of CPS, I’ve faced the challenge of moving from place to place, never having a permanent home. Right now, we’re staying with a friend, but it’s only a temporary solution. My goal is to move into our own place by October so I can provide my siblings with the stability and care they deserve.

Our grandma was our rock, and her recent passing created a big divide within our family. Losing her has made things even harder for us, but it’s also made me more determined to keep my siblings together and give them the support they need. Having our own home is essential for me to gain full custody of my siblings. It would show CPS that I’m able to provide a safe and supportive environment for them. The funds raised will go directly toward rent, utilities, and buying beds and furniture for my siblings, helping us create a space where they can feel secure and thrive.
