Help Aarjan apply for his citizenship

Hi everyone, my name is Aranyo Aarjan and I am a London-based writer and climate activist. I was recently made unemployed due to illness from my job as a teaching assistant for SEN students and have since then struggled both financially and with very poor mental health. When attempting to apply for work again recently I was rejected by my former agency due to not having a biometric residence permit, even though I have had Indefinite Leave to Remain (and therefore right to work) in the UK since 2002. However, since the ILR is just a stamp in an expired passport, many employers are no longer accepting it. Particularly with the tightening immigration restrictions we are seeing at the moment, in light of Brexit, I have made the decision to apply for my British citizenship. And this is what I am asking for your help with.

Due to both my own mental health and the fact that schools are in lockdown right now, I have been unable to find work in this time. Being able to crowdfund this exorbitant application fee would help me to have some breathing room for the next couple of months while I apply for work, as well as to pick up on the long backlog of articles I have been meaning to write for the past few months.

I am aware that this is not a medical emergency or an immediate life and death situation, and the majority of you reading this will have never met me in person. However, if I am able to reach this target, there will be in immense amount of pressure that is lifted from me and would make an enormous difference.
