Our website
We are a grassroots harm reduction coalition that has been operating on a volunteer basis for the last several years. Harm reduction is a set of practical strategies aimed at reducing negative consequences associated with drug use. Our main focus has been community awareness and education, combating overdose, encouraging safer using habits, lobbying for policy changes, networking with local organizations, non-profits, law enforcement and families of those afflicted. We have essentially been doing all we can within the bounds of voluntary time, donations and a bit of fundraising. The group has held marches, panels, trainings to individuals, businesses and organizations as well as providing Narcan (Naloxone), the overdose reversal drug, to anyone we can for free. Our hope is to hire WSU to help us complete all that is needed to become a 501c3 so we can better help those in our community in a more sustainable way.
We are people in recovery trying to help those afflicted by substance abuse, their family members and the community we live in.
