Help a Vashon Electrician Rebuild After Tool Theft

Donation protected
Dear Vashon community,

One of our wonderful island community members Chris Burrows (a father of two delightful young kids - and reliable electrician) was in an accident with his beloved truck during our recent wild weather event. He went to the hospital for stitches and returned to find his truck looted, with all of his electrical tools stolen.

Tools included - Milwaukee, Klein, & Wera branded drills, impact, laser levels, saws all, 3 Milwaukee packout boxes, a bunch of batteries and charging bank, hole saw set, Wera textile tool boxes, etc. This amounts to several thousand dollars worth of specialized tools.

Chris just recently completed his education and exams for licensing to operate as an independent electrician (who lives on and will serve Vashon!!!). He is a reliable and competent human of character, and we hate to see Chris and his family impacted in this way.

His truck wasn’t fancy - but it was awesome & loved! And if you’ve seen it around with a kiddo strapped in for a ridealong - we hope it brought you as much joy as it did us!

Several folks have mentioned that they would like to contribute to helping Chris rebuild his stash. We hate to see anyone in this position, and especially such an all around good human as Chris. Thank you community for sharing in the spirit of the season and chipping in to help uplift Chris & his family.
