For those who know me, know that I don’t ask for much or anything. I’ve worked hard the last 16 years to make it by as a tattoo artist. I was recently hit from behind by a truck in San Antonio. It was a hit-and-run. The crash broke my left leg, threw me on the curb and left me for dead. I’m just glad to still be alive and have the ability to keep my leg.

Over the years, I’ve donated to causes like this and helped out fellow tattooers that I’ve never met, as well as family and close friends, and I’ve seen how a GoFundMe account can really save someone from going into debt. Especially if you don’t have great insurance like me. Even after that, it’s gonna put me out of work for a few months. I’m just looking to get by with the bare minimum. I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to walk my dog if I need to pay someone to do that. All I can do is stay positive and heal up the best I can right now.

Anything extra I receive I can dish back when I’m fully recovered, or I can give tattoos to people who have donated to my cause for free. Tryin’ to make it all come back around. I was thinking that could maybe be a way of showing my gratitude and repaying. This is hard for me to make, but at some point I have to put down my pride to help me get by in these tough times. I hate to have to ask anyone for anything. At the same time, my people know that I will go through anything to help out with whatever I can for my family or friends. I know the economy has been shit lately. I’m not asking anyone to break the bank. More so, I’ll take whatever I can get; anything will help me out at this point.
