Help a young trans girl stay with her loving mom!

Hi, I'm fundraising on behalf of a good friend who prefers to stay anonymous. Please help a wonderful mother pay legal fees to win custody of her young trans daughter! This child is one of the sweetest, happiest, coolest kids I've ever met, and her single mom is her fiercest advocate. Unfortunately, this family is facing a nasty custody battle that could put them in an unsafe situation. Help this young trans girl stay in her happy, stable, safe, affirming home!

We started fundraising in January, and with the help of our amazing online community (you all!), we raised $5000 for her to hire a good lawyer and pay the retainer. We are so thankful for everyone who donated! It made all the difference in empowering this young mother to stand up to her abusive ex, and begin the process of fighting for custody of her child. However, those funds have now been used up, and this family still has a long road ahead of them. The child’s father plans to drag out this legal battle for as long as he can, to drain the mother of her financial resources and force her to give up. We have no choice but to ask for your support once again, to help this child stay in her safe and loving home with her mother.
